Guttate Psoriasis

Guttate psoriasis appears suddenly, often showing up 2 to 4 weeks after strep throat or a streptococcal skin infection and is often associated with children. People with guttate psoriasis will have:

  • Small red spots on their trunk, arms, legs, and face

People with guttate psoriasis often recover fully after a few days to weeks without treatment, although a short course of phototherapy is sometimes recommended.
